Generators
Portable power. Home backup power for storms and blackouts. Electricity at the jobsite or campsite. Nowhere is reliability so important than in a generator, because our lives depend so heavily on electricity. Honda generators range in power capacities from 1000 watts to 10,000 watts. Our sales team can give you a hand at calculating the size that would work best for you.
How you plan to use the generator will determine which features are most important to you. Do you need a super quiet generator for camping? The EU series generators have a fully enclosed body and inverter technology, making them exceptionally quiet, even when operating at close range. Do you need features that integrate well with a transfer switch for home backup? GFCI outlet protection for jobsite safety requirements? Electric start? Remote control? Clean inverter power for sensitive digital equipment? It’s your choice. Many generators in the Honda lineup also include automatic voltage regulation features (AVR, DAVR, or iAVR) to protect your appliances and electronics from voltage inconsistencies. All Honda generators are full efficient, and some also have either Auto Throttle or Eco Throttle. These features adjust the engine speed to match the power load on the generator. If there is very little power being consumed, the generator drops to a very efficient idle speed. This not only reduces fuel costs, but also dramatically increases runtime per tank of fuel.
Many accessories are available to help you maximize the usefulness of your Honda generator. Parallel kits are available for some models that allow you to link 2 compatible generators together for double the power output. Wheel/transport kits, lighting kits, power cord plugs, remote start controls, protective covers and more are also available. For safe and easy home backup connections there are all kinds of manual and automatic transfer switches available.
Lawn Mowers
For a perfectly trimmed yard, trim with a Honda. Honda lawn mowers are available with self-propel transmissions, or without. For the self-propelled models, there are three different variable speed transmission options. Honda Select Drive allows you to control the drive speed by rotating a paddle control forward or backward. Select Drive is very similar, but uses a dial control. Then there are the hydrostatic Cruise Control transmissions on the HRX series that allow the operator to easily set and maintain their preferred speed. Honda push mowers are ideal for mostly level yards, and are less expensive than the self-propelled mowers.
Many Honda walk-behind mowers allow the user to choose what to do with the grass clippings. You can either mulch them back down into the turf, scatter them across the yard via side discharge, or collect them into a grass bag. The Honda Versamow System, available on the HRX series, makes it possible to choose between bagging, mulching, discharging, or leaf shredding without using any attachments or tools. Other outstanding features available on some Honda mowers are the Roto-Stop blade clutch, electric start, folding handles, Auto Choke, and the outstandingly durable Nexite mower deck.
Homeowners who prefer to leave all the work to the mower should consider purchasing a Honda Miimo. It’s a lawn mower robot that can keep a lawn trimmed safely, quietly, and reliably! The robotic Miimo manages its own mowing schedule, charges its onboard battery automatically, and has theft-prevention features built-in. Trimmers, Brushcutters, and VersAttach
Honda 4-stroke trimmers are powered by lightweight yet powerful Honda 4-cycle engines. These engines offer significant advantages over other weed eaters that use 2-cycle engines. They are far quieter, vibrate less, can be operated at any angle, are easy to start, and use less fuel. If that’s not enough, there’s the big advantage of not needing to mix oil and gas, as these trimmers run on regular gasoline, just like your lawn mower.
The HHT25 trimmer has a smaller 25cc engine and is perfect for trimming around properties of all sizes. The larger 35cc HHT35 packs more power for trimming thicker grass and higher weeds. For better control while clearing brush, the HHT brushcutter comes standard with a 10-inch circular brush blade and a U-handle design that gives the operator more leverage. Then there’s the Honda VersAttach System. This is basically a trimmer power head with a quick-attach system for connecting a variety of attachments: a standard trimmer head, an edger blade, hedge trimmer, cultivator, grass/leaf blower, or limb pruner. It enables you to do all kinds of yard work with a single power unit!
Tillers and Cultivators
For a gardener, nothing beats the joy of working in soft, freshly-tilled soil. And nothing beats a Honda tiller for tilling! From the tiny Honda mini tiller to the powerful Honda rear-tine tiller, here you can find a tiller to match the size of your gardening project.
The mini tiller can be easily carried and lifted into raised flower beds. It can till up small areas without getting out of control, and can cultivate close to plants. The Honda mid-tine tillers are available in 21- and 26-inch widths. They can dig deep while retaining good balance and maneuverability. Finally, the self-propelled FRC800 is a rear-tine tiller with 3 forward speeds, and 1 reverse speed. It’s built to commercial grade specs, and with an exceptionally operator-friendly loop handle design for expert control.
Water Pumps
Easy-to-start Honda pumps are highly capable, and extremely reliable. If you need to irrigate crops, pump water out of a construction site, or pump chemicals safely, Honda pumps are ready to work.
Honda pumps come in a variety of types. The Compact pump models are highly portable and can pump water at high pressure, making these pumps perfect for firefighting, irrigation, or long-distance pumping applications. Honda General Purpose pumps serve well in a wide variety of dewatering situations. They come in outlet diameters of one to three inches and like all other Honda pumps, are powered by commercial grade Honda GX series engines. The WB Series features a tubular full frame protective structure, and cast iron pump volutes and impellers, making it a better fit for more grueling applications. Honda High-Pressure pumps are designed for efficient high-torque pumping. The Multi-Purpose Chemical pump has a thermoplastic pump housing, allowing it to pump a wide variety of agricultural and industrial chemicals. Honda Trash Pumps are prepared for jobsites where a lot of dirty water needs to be moved. With 2-, 3-, and 4-inch diameter options, and the ability to pump water containing mud and pebbles, these durable pumps are sought after by contractors, rental agencies, and professionals of all types. In this category, the WDP30 is a self-priming diaphragm pump with the capacity to handle low-volume, dry run sludge pumping.
In addition to the gas-powered pumps, the Honda pump lineup includes the WSP series of 120-volt electric submersible pumps. The submersibles are capable of pumping up to 150 gallons per minute, and are useful in many pumping scenarios.
Snow Blowers
Honda snowblowers surpass all others on cold winter mornings when the snow is deep. These machines are Honda to the core, powerful, and loaded with innovation. Oh, and they are easy to start on those cold mornings when you obviously don’t have time to fiddle with a cranky engine!
These Honda snow throwers are 2-stage blowers, meaning they use an auger to pull snow and ice into the impeller, which does the actual blowing. These machines are available in snow-clearing widths of 24 to 36 inches. You can choose between wheel-drive or track-drive models. Track drive is best if you need to push into packed snow banks or clear snow off of flat commercial roofs. There are also electric start options for exceptionally easy starting. Honda has designed the snow blower controls to be incredibly easy to use, even with gloved hands. Auger height, blower chute direction, steering, and drive systems are all at the operator’s fingertips. For a world-class snow removal experience, consider the hybrid gas/electric powered HSM1336i. It is the perfect combination of snow-blowing power and maneuverability, and features automatic and semi-automatic drive modes, advanced on-board diagnostics, and other features that set it apart from all others.
