Handle Every Outdoor Job like a Pro
A quick glance at the product catalog, and it seems Echo has it all. Look more closely at the equipment, or take it out for some real work, and you will be convinced! Here you will find not only many different types of tools, but also many different models, each built to commercial-grade standards.
In many ways, Echo is an industry leader. To highlight the engineering that sets the brand apart, Echo labels their best-in-class products “X Series Products.” These are products that stand out from the competition for characteristics such as power-weight ratios, innovative features, or productivity ratings.
Among the X Series is the eFORCE 56 Volt battery system. This is an all-electric platform for Echo’s battery-powered equipment. The eFORCE lineup includes electric chainsaws, trimmers, a brushcutter, double-sided hedge trimmer, handheld blower, self-propelled 21” lawnmower, and an electric power option for the Pro Attachment Series (PAS), a versatile tool system that includes 15 different PAS attachments. These eFORCE units all use the same interchangeable 56V batteries. The batteries feature Echo’s eCM Technology, which efficiently manages the charge, discharge, and temperature of the batteries. The eFORCE system matches the high Echo standard for productivity with an alternative power option that is efficient, quiet, powerful, and low-maintenance.
The Pro Attachment Series is also available with Echo 2-cycle engine powerheads. The genius of the system is that you can use the same engine for so many different attachments. Or, we could say it’s a weed eater with attachments! Available attachments include a various string trimmer heads, a leaf blower, bed redefiner, edger, tiller, power pruner, various hedge trimmer attachments, and sweeping attachments. Any one of these can be easily swapped out for another, with a quick tool-less coupler. Several value packs are available that let you buy a PAS powerhead with just one or two attachments. Of course, you can always purchase additional attachments later!
Whether you call them weed eaters, weedwackers, grass trimmers, or string trimmers, no property looks trimmed without them. And no trimmer trims like an Echo. Powered by commercial-grade 2-stroke Echo engines, the Echo string trimmers and brush cutters form a truly legendary lineup. From lightweight curved-shaft models to powerful straight shaft trimmers and brush cutters with U-handle controls, they all boast ergonomic quality, high power-weight ratios, and easy-to-reload trimmer heads. An array of engine sizes is available, allowing buyers to choose a trimmer that best fits their budget and typical trimming usage. Echo wheeled trimmers can handle larger jobs and denser grass, and feature large wheels that allow them to maneuver well even over rough ground.
Echo boasts a large lineup of high-performing chainsaws. There are top-handle chainsaws that can be easily handled with one hand, and rear-handle chainsaws that provide extra cutting leverage. There are smaller arborist chainsaws designed for limbing and pruning, and larger, powerful chainsaws that can fell large trees and spend the rest of the day sawing firewood. All Echo chainsaws feature best-in-class vibration reduction, automatic oilers, and inertia chain brakes. Echo power pruners are chainsaws on a pole. These long-handled pruners allow you to reach 12 feet or more into a tree to trim off small branches. Some of the features that set Echo pruners apart are heavy duty gear boxes with dual-sealed bearings, adjustable oiling systems, and a powerful yet lightweight design.
Echo chipper shredders are the machines that can reduce fallen limbs, cut off branches and leaves into landscaping mulch. The chipper/shredders feature reversible blades for longer usable blade life. They also accept different-sized debris screens, allowing you to select the type of mulch that’s produced, fine, medium, or coarse. Many landscapers use Echo chipper shredders to offer mulching services to their landscaping customers. Homeowners also use these to produce their own mulch and save time and money by not needing to haul away their yard debris.
Echo produced the world’s first backpack blower in 1975, the first handheld blower in 1978, and has been leading leaf blower innovation ever since. Echo blowers have advanced ignitions for easy starts, and many other features that minimize operator fatigue and maximize productivity. Many of the backpack blowers are available with either a hip throttle control or a throttle on the tube handle grip. Padded shoulder straps and padded backrests come standard on the backpacks, as well as Posi-loc tubes for easy and secure pipe connections. Among the handheld blowers is the Echo Shred-N-Vac, which offers 3 functions in one: blowing, vacuuming into a collection bag, and shredding the leaves as they’re vacuumned.
Echo Perfect Edge edgers can make quick work of edging along sidewalks and curbs. These units can also be fitted with a wire brush wheel for cleaning weeds and dirt out of cracks in driveways and sidewalks. In addition to the edgers, the Bed Redefiner is a dedicated tool for redefining the eroded perimeters of flower beds and gardens. With its six-finger cutting blade, this redefiner can produce a sharp bevel along beds, and do it in far less time than it can be done with a shovel!
Echo hedge trimmers are designed specifically for maintaining beautifully sculpted hedges. These clippers come in models with single-edge cutting bars, and double-edged cutting bars. Long-handled pole hedge trimmers are also available as well as models with articulating blades. These trimmers are extremely useful to people who maintain tall hedges, as they allow not only for trimming high-sided hedges, but also for trimming across the top. Like other Echo equipment, these units have excellent vibration reduction and commercial grade components. Echo RazorEdge blades use a three-sided edge design to provide maximum cutting efficiency. For safety, a throttle lockout prevents accidental blade engagement.
There are many other products produced by Echo, and all of them are true to Echo’s reputation for high-performing quality. There’s a cut-off saw for hardscaping pros who need to cut blocks, paving stones, or landscaping rock. There’s a 2-inch, high-pressure fire pump that can pull water from any available water source to put out blazes and protect property. A tiller that’s just the right size for cultivating flower beds or small garden plots. An engine drill with a heavy duty chuck. An earth/ice auger for post hole digging, ice fishing, tree planting, and more. Echo generators and inverter-generators produce reliable power with characteristic Echo efficiency. Then there are Echo pressure washers, sprayers, Echo spreaders for spreading fertilizer, ice melt, or seeds, and a whole array of Echo hand tools, accessories, and protective gear!
